Military Families Speak Out announces one of their newer chapters in Texas! Military Families Speak Out is an organization of people opposed to the war in Iraq who have relatives or loved ones in the military. Several members of MFSO from the Houston, Katy, Killeen, San Antonio, North Texas, Dallas, Austin and all areas in between are working together to formulate an organized chapter for members in Texas and will begin creating and generating actions intended to promote peace and others to pressure elected officials to bring the troops home NOW and take care of them when they get here.

If any member has an interest in helping out by speaking, organizing, creating, supporting, managing information, attending events, phoning members, interfacing with press or creating releases, or just plain old thinking and sharing what you feel can give or receive from this effort with us, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re committed to your success with an empowered voice, and to the care of your loved one who so selflessly serves this country under the most challenging of circumstances.

If YOU have family members or loved ones in the military and you are opposed to this war, JOIN us by sending an e-mail to mfso@mfso.org, and please visit the MFSO web site at http://www.mfso.org/ for information, or contact the person in your area. MFSOTX members strive for a family atmosphere, and military families will find acceptance and others who are committed to helping with your problems and needs, regardless of what situation you may be in. We have resources and knowledge “deep in the heart of Texas”. Do not be hesitant to call or email the point members in your area to offer your help or to obtain advice or assistance. If we do not have the answer, we will find the answer.
